12 Foods to Get Rid of Hangover or Flu!

Nobody enjoys a hangover or being sick with the flu. The headaches, fever, body aches, nausea and congestion all make for a very unpleasant experience.

Here are 12 rescue foods that will help you battle and prevent the flu (and some can help you with a hangover too).

1. Ginger

Ginger Tea will reduce nausea.

2. Honey

Add honey to your Ginger Tea for extra, (much needed), anti-oxidants.

3. Citrus Pulp

Citrus pulp contains loads of flavonoids which help boost your immune system.

4. Chili!

Congested? Sinus backed up?
Eat something spicy – chili is a powerful decongestant, (do avoid chili if your stomach is unsettled or hurting).

5. Tomato Juice

Great for rehydration, and a rich source of minerals and nutrients that your body needs the morning after the night before.

6. Fruit Popsicle

Sore throat? From singing, shouting or the flu, a fresh fruit popsicle will soothe a sore throat.

7. Asparagus
